Soon
After the birth of the Earth...
A consciousness awakened
underneath the crust
It walked the surface
for eternity
and witnessed
the arduous journey
of all species
Aste is an embodiment of of the Earth's upper mantle. Being almost as old as the planet, she acquired unparparalelled wisdom. Her mode of existence grants near omnipotence and knowledge about the essence of matter.
She tirelessly observes the fate of all beings on the planet thoughout the ages, and currently enjoying civilizations up-close, hands-on.
Her true name has been lost through time, for she had lived nearly as long as the Earth itself. The ancient humans once mentioned her as "The Green Eyed Red Dragon" .
Her cold expression gives the impression of constant boredom and apathy. But one need not a lifetime to learn, that underneath those eyes, lies a warmth, which can only be described as a parent's love.
Her existence has always been categorized as god by any earthly measure. Yet, the truth is that she's a creature, just like any other, and among god-like creatures on earth, she stands in the rank of the highest elders.
Throughout pre-history, she prefers spending time chilling in the cold snowy mountains of Alps and Everest. But the recent rise in human civilization actually piqued her interest.
In modern times, aside from relaxing in sub-zero climate, she also likes to visit bars, cafes, large markets, and other commercially vibrant places .
Her deepest interest lies within human's ability to create festivity, with music at the core, and trade as the lifeline. "To experience civilizations up-close", as she usually said. Assuming a human appearance, she walks the surface of the earth, leaving the dragon's legacy for a new chapter.

The earth is divided into several layers. The earth's crust, the mantle, and the core. The earth's crust and the dense upper part of the mantle are called the lithosphere. Just below the lithosphere, there is a layer called the asthenosphere.
The asthenosphere is the part of the mantle that is soft like toothpaste. It is not as hard as the lithosphere above it, but it is not as liquid as the mantle below it.
The movement of the asthenosphere has a small influence on the magnetic field radiated by the Earth's core. These small changes in the Earth's magnetic field then influence the movement of material in the asthenosphere in other parts. This causes the entire asthenosphere to become a giant electromagnetic network.
Like the small changes in the electric field in nerve cells collectively give rise to consciousness in humans, these small changes in the earth's magnetic field collectively give rise to consciousness. This is when the asthenosphere gets its Ghost.
This means that the dragon's true form is the asthenosphere itself, and the earth's magnetic field is the medium/container for its consciousness.
In terms of Greek mythology, she's a parthenogenic child of Gaia, together with Primordial Deities on a par with Uranus, Pontus, and Ourea. Each is a personification of the Sky, Sea, and Mountains. The asthenosphere is a layer of the earth that is hidden from all living creatures, but always supports the sea and mountains. Lava is her creation and volcanoes are her byproduct. If the earth's surface moves and clashes in an earthquake, it also occurs in its shadow.
The Earth's upper mantle contains 55% olivine. This is what gives her the green eyes. The clear, gem-quality olivine we call Peridot. Below are examples of rough Peridot and Olivine jewelry stones.
